Dr. Vernengo (ver-nang- o) was born in Glendale, California. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University of Northridge. He then went on to Ross University to achieve his DVM in 2003.

Dr. Vernengo has been an associate at Kokomo Animal Hospital since 2003. Adam has two children one boy and a girl.

Dr. Vernengo is a board member of the Wabash Valley Veterinary Association, and the Kokomo Humane Society, and a member of the Indiana Veterinary Medical Association and American Veterinary Medical Association. He makes himself available for community events associated with the Kokomo Humane Society.
